Braumeister - manufacturer becomes a product innovator

Speidel took a risk when the company allowed the founder's grandson to translate the company's expertise in quality container manufacture into small home-brewing appliances for beer lovers - the Braumeister brand. The astonishing success of the Braumeister project opened Speidel up to a whole new market. While their traditional business model is aiming at commercial customers in food, agriculture and medical industries, the Braumeister allows everyone to brew their own customized beer at home, which requires a completely different product design and usability.

KDAB was invited to modernize the software interface and went on to deliver online connectivity and full stack expertise. At 01:15, KDAB's Christoph Sterz details some of the work KDAB did using Qt/QML to create an optimal user experience.
